Heron Patchwork Wall Hanging
Heron Patchwork Wall Hanging.
A private commission for the new space of 느우 Neuu (@neuu.artist), a studio that reinterprets Ottchil(lacquer) and Najeon (mother-of-pearl inlay) in a contemporary language.
Made from fabric offcuts left over from production, too small to be used for garments. 840 small pieces were joined vertically into 28 strips, and the strips were then sewn together to form the pattern.
